GET OUT THE POPCORN
Mark your calendars for this Friday, April 13 at 2pm EST, for my second episode of Knitty Gritty!
http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/shows_dkng/episode/0,2046,DIY_18180_49945,00.html
I think, like most things, this one is an improvement over the last season. The show will air on DIY and you WILL NOT want to miss it. It was a really fun episode to shoot. The producers/crew are always a blast. There is also a huge post coming on Friday which will blow your socks off. Can't wait for that. So for all 6 of my readers, just generally save the day on Friday....so much is happening. (I can't tell you EVERYTHING, now can I?) And no, I don't work for that store anymore. It's a good thing, trust me. I only say that because today my first episode aired on HGTV, and it credits that store because I used to teach there.
And TODAY at 2pm is Scout's episode. I'm even considering wearing a suit for this one. She's showing how to dye yarn, and all the tricks that go along with it! We've been talking about it for a month now, so I'm sooooo excited to see it. Knitty Gritty calls her a genius with dyeing yarn. Truly, she da bomb.

Oohhh, I'm so excited, I just had dvr added to my tv service and Knitty gritty was the first on my list to "tape". Sad isn't it? I can't wait.

I would watch, but alas. . . we don't get the DIY network. Drat! and surely you have more than 6 readers.

I've got my DIY. And a VCR. And THIS time I've got the tape-thingy-clock-whatever figgered out.

I heard about your sad experience, realizing at the last minute that you don't have DIY! Is it too late to get it hooked up in time for your episode, at least?

I must be reader number 9. I enjoy your blog and only wish I got the channel with DIY!!!!!!

I just watched Scout's episode. Wow. This season is great because it seems like I now know all of the guest-host people!
Now, I can't wait to see your episode. And I have to say, I didn't see your last episode, but I did, at least, got to hug your tall and bad-ass self right after the taping, which is probably almost just as good (if not better).

OMG, I can't wait to see you on TV. I'm so excited!
If I am this excited now, then how excited am I going to be when I see you in person in a few months?
Are you tall, is Vikie short... or both?

That is so cool! :)
I only get HGTV so I will have to wait to see your new fab episode. :( But I tape them so I looking forward to seeing the older one! :)

Could you please post a pic or two of the sweater with the curb chains? I do maille, and my wife knits, and we're thinking about collaborating on a sweater with a maille collar, but could use a still or two for inspiration. Thanks!

I recorded your episode and watched it this morning. You really are talented. I love the bag you made. Nice touch water proofing the seams!

I saw your episode on Knitty Gritty as well as Scout's - both were terrific (I say that even as I battled a migraine.). I really loved the cool finishing stitches you demonstrated... I'll be using that on an upcoming sweater. Add me to your list of readers - all 7 of us!
